Daniel et Daniel dine Julia Child
TORONTO STAR, NOVEMBER 1993

Julia Child was the guest of honour at a special dinner prepared by Daniel et Daniel and served at the home of wine writer Michael Vaughan.

"The occasion was a memorable- nay, magical - dinner-for-nine, beautifully prepared by chef Daniel Clairet of Daniel et Daniel Catering."

The five-course meal, prepared by Executive Chef Daniel Clairet, included Duck Consomme, Smoked Duck and Enoki Mushrooms, Tenderloin of Canadian Pork with Wild Mushroom Stuffing and Tarragon Sauce. Cookstown Baby Greens with Basil and Balsamic Vinegarette, and Pear Poached in Red Wine with Almond Cream, Pastry Lattice and Creme Anglaise.
