Built in 1850 to serve as the city’s public meeting place and restored as the city’s centennial project in 1967, the St. Lawrence Towne Hall continues to be Toronto’s favorite site for social and business functions, large and small. At the head of a magnificent staircase stands the Great Hall, the most beautiful feature of St. Lawrence Towne Hall. This truly elegant room is an authentic reproduction of the original décor with an elaborate ornamental ceiling and an enormous gaslight chandelier This gorgeous venue has the capacity for up to 200 theatre style, 150 for dinner and up to 120 for dinner and dancing.
